If you have had a plenty of bodywork by various massage therapists over the years, you know that no matter how good the training may have been for a masseur, that the best therapists have an "instinctive sense" of how to work with your connective tissue. That this sense can not be taught, it is an intuitive quality that is innate within the therapist themselves.
Additionally, those therapists that truly have this "healing touch," and have received advanced therapeutic training from various classes and teachers over the years, usually make the best therapists because they can combine their instinctive sense along with a thorough understanding of how the different muscle groups and its connective tissue are related and interdependent with one another.
The feedback that I have received from many of my clients over the last 17 years is that I have both the anatomical understanding of the human body, along with the instinctive touch of how to work with one's body once it is in my healing hands (pictured here).
Bodywork sessions are individually customized to the current needs of each client. Before the session I will find out how a client is feeling, what is going on with their body, and what they want to accomplish from their bodywork session. I will take the clients intent and combine it with what I find as I am massaging them. Feedback is encouraged, if I need to make an adjustment during the course of the massage I am adept in doing so.
It is deep tissue massage that is my niche because I love working with the body’s connective tissue and getting your body open, quite literally. During the session it is common that I will use several modalities as I work with interdependent muscle groups to produce thorough results. You will have the experience of feeling rejuvenated and refreshed. I am very experienced in working with all kinds of conditions. Whether you simply want to have all the stress taken away, or if you are dealing with an injury or chronic constrictive patterns – I have the expertise and the skill to work with what is at hand.
